Christmas Eve...and Grandma's Birthday!

December 24, 2009 - I've heard that grandma has an open house on Christmas Eve every year, but this was my very first experience. I sure met a bunch of people all at once! I did pretty well, even though I was teething really bad. I never realized I had so many relatives and good friends.

First Christmas in the Oaks

Tuesday, December 22, 2009 - I went to Christmas in the Oaks in City Park tonight with mommy, daddy, grandma Emilie and grandpa Blake. Patricia, Eric, Hannah, and Nicholas met us there too! It was a bit chilly, so mommy and daddy bundled me up real good and I got to wear my new hat and mittens. I had such a good time looking at all the lights and being in the chest carrier...and I got to stay up way past my bed time!

First Plane Ride

December 18th, 2009 - Me, daddy, mommy, and Chloe flew to Louisiana for Christmas. It was so much fun! Mommy was nervous about traveling with me and the kitty (why, I just do not know). However, mommy says I did very very well! And I never heard my moo make a peep either. I slept the first hour and 45 minutes and then I giggled and played the rest of the way. I even jumped up and down on daddy's lap as we were landing. I only cried when we were taxi-ing to the airport after landing...I can only be good for so long you know. While we were in the air, a stewardess was nice enough to take our picture.

My First Snow!

I finally got to see the first snow of the season and my first snow ever! It was pretty neat. Daddy was vacuuming the living room, so mommy positioned me close to the back door so I could see the snow outside. It was so bright!

I was quite pooped after the cookie decorating excitement from the day before, watching snow, and playing with mommy and daddy. This was such a comfy spot for a nap!

My 1st Cookie Decorating Party!!

So, mommy finally took me to a cookie decorating party. I've heard so much about these gatherings, so I was anxious to attend one. Let me tell you, there are lots of ladies at this event - I got lots of smooches and hugs!! I love to flirt, so this situation was ideal :) I'm going to have to take this moment to say sorry to mommy though because she really didn't get to do much decorating. I think she only got through half of one cookie. Oh well, aren't I worth it!

Sitting Up!

I'm so excited that I'm finally able to sit up a little bit now. I can't quite do it all by myself yet, but with a little leverage (daddy holding my legs down), I can get up pretty good using the stomach muscles I've been working on. Mommy finally got it on video, but stay tuned because I'm sure I'll be doing it all by myself soon!

My First Picture Day

It was picture day at Mrs. Debbie's today. I got to wear a really cute outfit. Mommy says I look like a little golfer with the plaid pants and collared shirt with vest. I did very good for my pictures. I actually smiled! When I got home, mommy had to get a few quick shots of me hanging out in my carseat because I'm just too cute!

Eating Solids!

Yay! Applesauce! I finally get to eat something with a spoon. I keep watching mommy and daddy eat in front of me and it's getting old! I figured if I kept making chewing motions with my mouth, they might get the idea and feed me already. It worked!

The Passing Down of the Remote

Daddy told me this thing called "the Remote" has magical man powers. It looks much different than my other toys, but still seemed pretty interesting. I pressed some button and our TV did weird things. Mommy and daddy laughed.
